Description
I am contacting you to dispute the reporting of XXXX accounts by XXXX XXXX XXXX, a third-party debt collector, as outlined below. These accounts violate the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) under XXXX XXXX Code XXXX, which mandates accurate, fair, and complete credit reporting. Disputed Accounts : Account XXXX : Amount - {$910.00}, Opened - XX/XX/2022 Account XXXX : Amount - {$1400.00}, Opened - XX/XX/2022 Upon reviewing my credit reports, I identified the following inaccuracies and issues that warrant immediate deletion of these accounts : Inaccurate Account Status and Balance : The status and reported balances for these accounts are incorrect. These accounts were purchased by XXXX XXXX and subsequently paid for less than the amount owed. The reported amounts do not reflect this payment accurately. Incomplete Information : My credit report does not show the amount XXXX XXXX paid for the debt, leaving the information inaccurate and incomplete, which is a clear violation of the FCRAs accuracy requirement. This omission of critical details affects my credit standing unfairly. Request for Deletion : Based on the inaccurate and incomplete information present, I request the immediate deletion of these accounts from my credit report. It is my understanding that 15 U.S. Code 1681 mandates that information in my credit file must be complete and accurate. These accounts, as reported, do not meet that requirement. Please confirm that these accounts have been removed from my report or provide a written explanation for any decision to retain them. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your swift confirmation of deletion.
