Description
On several occasions for many years, I was charged a {$20.00} overdraft fee by Navy Federal Credit Union, despite not having sufficient funds in my account at the time of the transaction. However, I did not receive a clear warning that these charges would occur, nor was I given sufficient time or opportunity to prevent them. Additionally, I was unaware that my account would be charged multiple overdraft fees for transactions that occurred within a short period. I understand that overdraft fees are typically assessed when there are insufficient funds in an account ; however, in my case, I believe the circumstances warrant reconsideration. The fees were charged despite my limited balance, and I feel that the terms and conditions were not clearly communicated regarding how and when these fees would be applied. Furthermore, there was no notice or alert that additional fees would be incurred after the initial charge.
