Description
I have an account with XXXX to track my credit score and report. Yesterday I received multiple emails from them stating that my 'credit file had been updated '. Upon looking into my account, I saw seven separate credit inquiries I did not authorize. All of them were dated XX/XX/year>. I filed a report with XXXX to dispute the inquiries. Coincidentally, I received a call and text from a local car dealership in my area regarding a supposed inquiry that was made online about purchasing a new vehicle. I informed them I was uninterested and had not made any online inquiries. I don't know if these two things are related. I have contacted this dealership 's credit department to inform them that it was a fraudulent inquiry.
