Description
The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Interagency Testing Committee (ITC) transmitted its Forty-Sixth Report to the Administrator of the EPA on May 25, 2000. In the 46\th\ Report, which is included with this notice, the ITC: Solicits information on uses, exposures, ecological effects, environmental fate, and health effects on 3 classes of structurally related chemicals (4 polychlorophenols and polychlorobenzenethiols, 8 chlorotrifluoromethylphenoxy benzenes, and 50 perfluorinated chemicals) that have potential to persist and bioconcentrate; requests more detailed exposure and use information be included in the TSCA Electronic Hazard and Safety Data Reporting Form; adds 8 nonylphenol polyethoxylate degradation products to the Priority Testing List; and removes 4 alkylphenols and 15 alkylphenol ethoxylates from the Priority Testing List. EPA invites interested persons to submit written comments on the Report.
