Federal Exclusion Records

Exclusions (formerly "debarments") are actions that prevent individuals or companies from receiving federal contracts or grants. Exclusions are listed in SAM.gov and can result from fraud, poor performance, violations of law, or other causes. Bureauify tracks all active exclusions across the federal government.

Federal contractors are required to verify that their subcontractors and key personnel are not excluded. Doing business with an excluded party can result in contract termination, penalties, and your own exclusion. Bureauify lets you search exclusions by name, CAGE code, or DUNS number.

Exclusion periods typically range from 3 years (standard debarment) to indefinite. Some exclusions are for specific programs or agencies. Companies can apply for reinstatement by demonstrating remedial actions. Bureauify tracks exclusion start/end dates and status changes.
