FedRAMP Moderate is the most common FedRAMP authorization baseline, requiring approximately 325 security controls. Applies to cloud systems where loss of confidentiality, integrity, or availability would have serious adverse impact. Covers the majority of federal cloud deployments including email, collaboration, and CUI-handling systems.
