In government contracting, a Pool refers to a group of pre-qualified contractors within a contract vehicle, organized by business size, socioeconomic status, or domain expertise. For example, OASIS+ has pools for Unrestricted, Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and WOSB. Task orders are competed within the relevant pool.
