Description
GTI Energy has integrated the Cool Reformer technology with the IH2®-50 pilot plant (which can process a maximum of 50kg/day of biomass feed) to demonstrate the suitability of this new reforming technology for producing hydrogen within IH2® process. As part of this study, we showed that all of the hydrogen required for the IH2® process could be produced from steam reforming the IH2® light gas generated within the process and the system can be integrated in a cost-effective way compared to the use of standard SMRs..
