Definition
A Sample Task is a hypothetical scenario included in a solicitation that offerors must respond to as part of their technical proposal. Evaluators assess the offeror's approach, staffing, and methodology for the sample task as a predictor of actual performance. Common in services acquisitions, especially IDIQ task order competitions.
