Definition
FAR Part 13 — Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) — streamlines procurement for acquisitions at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold ($250K). Reduces administrative burden with fewer requirements for competition, documentation, and approval. Micro-purchases (under $10K) are the simplest form. Purchases between $10K-$250K are automatically set aside for small business.
